Federal Rx Reporting & High-Deductible Health Plan Updates

Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2021, Section 204 Prescription Reporting Due June 1, 2025

We are pleased to announce that WebTPA has successfully submitted the 2024 Prescription Drug Data Collection (RxDC) P2, D1, D2, and D9 files, containing plan and healthcare cost data to the Center for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) on behalf of our clients, and all files were accepted by CMS. The effort was completed ahead of schedule, on May 7, 2025.

In general, WebTPA did not submit the prescription data files referred to as D3-D8 as most PBMs are submitting these separately on behalf of health plans. Thank you for collaborating closely with your WebTPA Account Management team to meet the submission deadline.

IRS Releases 2026 Inflation – Adjusted Limits for HSAs & Excepted Benefit HRAs

The IRS has announced the inflation-adjusted limits for Health Savings Accounts (HSAs) and excepted benefit Health Reimbursement Arrangements (HRAs) for the 2026 calendar year. These new amounts reflect annual adjustments required under the Internal Revenue Code.
